NCVET Recognises Dr Reddy’s Foundation As Awarding Body

The National Council for Vocational Education and Training has granted recognition to Dr Reddy’s Foundation as an Awarding Body (Standard) through the signing of an agreement on 19 December 2025. With this recognition, the foundation is authorised to assess, award and certify learners for training delivered directly by it at campuses or training centres owned or fully managed by the organisation for approved or adopted qualifications.

As the first major initiative under this framework, NCVET has approved the “Pharma Manufacturing Technician” qualification at National Skills Qualification Framework Level 4. The 450-hour course is designed to create a pool of high-quality technical manpower for the life sciences sector. Dr Reddy’s Foundation also plans to roll out additional programmes focused on future-ready core employability skills.

Alignment with the National Credit Framework through NCVET will enable learners to accumulate and transfer credits, supporting both career progression and continued academic advancement. Dr Reddy’s Foundation has impacted over 2 million lives, with a strong focus on youth and persons with disabilities.

NCVET said the recognition reinforces the national vision of building inclusive, flexible and future-ready learning pathways to strengthen employability and skill development across India.
