Omaxe Engages 25 Start-ups at The Omaxe State, Dwarka

Omaxe has hosted around 25 start-up founders at The Omaxe State, Dwarka, to explore opportunities for emerging businesses to deploy their products, services and technologies within the integrated development.

The participating start-ups represented sectors including PropTech, artificial intelligence and automation, sports and e-sports, hospitality, wellness and fitness, co-working and shared spaces.

The engagement included a walkthrough of The Omaxe State, a presentation by the Omaxe team and discussions with founders about potential applications of their offerings within the project.

Omaxe said the initiative forms part of its efforts to connect start-ups with physical commercial environments where they can interact with customers, demonstrate products and test new business formats.

Technology-led businesses in sports and entertainment were among the areas explored. AI is increasingly being applied to athlete training, performance analysis, fitness and fan engagement, while e-sports is creating new formats for participation and entertainment.

“India’s start-up ecosystem has demonstrated its ability to build businesses around technology and new consumer needs. The next step is to create more opportunities for these businesses to engage with the physical economy, where they can meet customers, test their offerings and grow,” said Mohit Goel, Managing Director, Omaxe.

Spread across 50.4 acres, The Omaxe State comprises five districts covering Sports, Shopping, Food, Hospitality and Social experiences, providing multiple formats for businesses to engage with consumers within one destination.

Omaxe is also evaluating more than 50 co-working spaces and operators for the development and exploring opportunities across e-sports, fitness and wellness, hospitality and other start-up-led formats.
