PM Modi reviews eight infra projects worth over 50k cr

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed as many as eight projects from the states of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Haryana, worth over Rs 50,000 crore during the 38th Pragati meeting.

Pragati is an Information and Communications Technology (ICT)-based multimodal platform that brings together the Centre and state governments to promote proactive governance and timely project implementation.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) announced that eight projects were reviewed at the meeting, including four from the Ministry of Railways, two from the Ministry of Power, and one each from the Ministries of Road Transport and Highways and Civil Aviation.

The projects will be implemented in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Haryana, and will cost around Rs 50,000 crore in total.
