PM Modi unveils mega development initiatives in Solapur, Maharashtra

On January 19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate or lay the foundation stones for various development projects in Solapur, Maharashtra, according to an official release. The public program, scheduled in the southern Maharashtra city, will witness the Prime Minister laying the foundation stones for eight AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) projects valued at approximately Rs 2,000 crore in the state.

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi will dedicate over 90,000 houses constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). As part of this initiative, he will also mark the dedication of 15,000 houses within the Raynagar Housing Society in Solapur. The beneficiaries of these homes include numerous individuals, such as handloom workers, vendors, powerloom workers, rag pickers, Bidi workers, and drivers.

Furthermore, during the program, Prime Minister Modi will initiate the distribution of the first and second instalments to 10,000 beneficiaries of PM-SVANIDHI in Maharashtra.
