Former opposition leader inaugurates New Service Road in Vashi

Former opposition leader at Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), Dashrath Bhagat, inaugurated a service road on the eastern side of the Vashi railway station. The event was attended by numerous local residents, including senior citizens. This newly constructed road is anticipated to enhance commuting facilities in the area, providing vehicle parking and a dedicated rickshaw stand.

According to Bhagat, "The road will make it easier for commuters to reach Vashi railway station from the east side."

Expressing his contentment during the inauguration, he highlighted the approval of these much-needed infrastructure improvements, which were the result of tireless efforts. Bhagat further emphasised that the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) will continue its phased development in the area to meet the demands of the citizens.

The newly opened service road is expected to greatly improve the commuting experience for residents of Sector 1, as well as Sectors 13 to 19 in Sanpada. It will bring long-awaited amenities to reality and enhance accessibility to the Vashi railway station.
