Foundation Stone of New Road Laid at Buraganj in Kharibari

The foundation stone for a new 1.5-kilometer paved road in Buraganj, Kharibari, was laid by Kishori Mohan Singh, the Forest and Land Karmadhyaksha of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad. The road, located in the Badalbhita area under Buraganj Gram Panchayat, will be constructed at a cost of Rs 19.79 lakh, funded by the Tribal Development Department.

This road construction aims to improve connectivity in the region, benefiting local communities and ensuring better access to essential services. The ceremony, held recently, saw the participation of Kharibari Panchayat Samiti members, including Sushma Mardi, Pradeep Mishra, and other local dignitaries.

The new infrastructure will be pivotal in the overall development of the region, facilitating smoother transportation for the people of Buraganj and nearby areas.
