Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has earmarked Rs 1 billion for Goa to address black spots and curb road fatalities. The funding is intended to be utilised for identifying and rectifying black spots?areas with a higher incidence of accidents?in Goa. The initiative aligns with the broader objective of minimising road fatalities and creating safer travel conditions for residents and visitors in the state.
