Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has earmarked Rs 1 billion for Goa to address black spots and curb road fatalities. This financial allocation reflects the government's dedication to bolstering road safety measures and enhancing the overall quality of transportation infrastructure in the state.

The funding is intended to be utilised for identifying and rectifying black spots?areas with a higher incidence of accidents?in Goa. The initiative aligns with the broader objective of minimising road fatalities and creating safer travel conditions for residents and visitors in the state.

Nitin Gadkari's allocation of Rs 1.00 billion signifies a proactive approach to improving road safety and infrastructure, emphasising the importance of targeted investments in mitigating accident-prone areas.
