NHAI issues tender for NH 56 expansion in Gujrat

The NHAI in India has issued a tender for the expansion of a section on NH-56 in Gujarat. The project aims to upgrade the existing road from Jitnagar in Nandod taluka to Bitada/Movi in Netrang taluka to a four-lane highway using the HAM mode, under Package-IV (B).

The expansion work will cover a distance of 18.78 km, starting from ch 161.000 (existing km 484.300) in Jitnagar village, Nandod taluka, and extending to ch 179.780 (existing km 506.660) in Bitada/Movi, Netrang taluka.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 9.71 billion. Interested bidders must submit their proposals by 4 July 2023.
