Widening of Road from Ayyanthole to Kallettumkara in Thrissur District

The Kerala Public Works Department (PWD) has begun the widening of the road from Ayyanthole to Kallettumkara in the Thrissur district. The project, which is valued at Rs 49 crore, is aimed at improving road infrastructure and easing traffic flow in the region.

The widening work will span a distance of approximately 8 kilometers, addressing the growing demand for better road connectivity between Ayyanthole and Kallettumkara. The project will also include the construction of bridges, culverts, and other related infrastructure.

PWD officials mentioned that the project is expected to be completed within the stipulated time frame of 18 months, ensuring that the road’s capacity and safety standards meet modern requirements. The upgrade will help reduce congestion and improve the overall driving experience for commuters in the area.
