The authority has increased use of precast segments and mechanised equipment to speed assembly while maintaining quality controls. Material supply chains have been strengthened to reduce idle time and maintain steady progress at multiple sites. Testing, commissioning protocols and systems integration are being scheduled in parallel to construction activities.\n\nOfficials outlined benefits for commuters once the Purple Line is operational, including enhanced connectivity across corridors and reduced travel times through interchange points and feeder services. The project continues to be overseen by the state government and CMRL, which will provide regular updates to stakeholders on milestones and timelines.
