Delhi Metro showcases expertise at Barcelona Smart City Expo

Indian Ambassador to Spain, Jayant N Khobragade, on Tuesday visited the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) exhibition stall at the Smart City Expo World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, from 4 to 6 November.

Ambassador Khobragade toured the exhibition and was briefed on Delhi Metro’s operations and international consultancy initiatives by DMRC’s Principal Executive Director, Corporate Communications, Anuj Dayal. He commended the DMRC’s efforts to expand its global footprint as a consultancy in the mass transit sector.

A DMRC spokesperson said, “The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is participating in this world-renowned congress to showcase the Delhi Metro as a global consultant in the mass transit sector, offering comprehensive 360-degree solutions for metro rail development across the world.”

The Smart City Expo World Congress is a leading global event bringing together urban planners, transport operators, and technology experts from over 100 countries. Participants discuss innovative approaches to urban planning, sustainable development, and the integration of smart mobility systems.

DMR Engineering reported its half year results for the financial year ended 31 March 2026 and published full year figures on a standalone basis.
