Ernakulam Duronto To Get 3 More Sleeper Coaches

Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar announced on Sunday that the Central Government has approved the addition of three more sleeper coaches to the Hazrat Nizamuddin–Ernakulam Duronto Express, addressing a long-standing demand from regular passengers on the high-demand route.
In a Facebook post thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chandrasekhar stated that the additional coaches would substantially improve seat availability and ease travel for thousands of commuters.
“With this approval, the train will now operate with a total of 22 modern Linke-Hofmann-Busch coaches starting from 2 August,” he wrote, highlighting the benefits for regular travellers between Delhi and Ernakulam.
