HBL Wins Rs 541.2 Million KAVACH Contract

HBL Engineering Limited has secured a contract worth Rs 541.2 million from the West Central Railway for the survey, design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of trackside KAVACH equipment. The project covers the Kota–Ruthiyai section and the Sogaria–Kota "C" section, spanning 166 route kilometres in the Kota division.
The scope of work includes erecting towers and associated infrastructure for KAVACH at 18 stations and level crossing gates along the route. The initiative, which includes 18 per cent GST, is aimed at enhancing railway safety through the deployment of this advanced signalling and train protection system.
With this contract, HBL Engineering’s total order book rises to Rs 40.83 billion. The project is scheduled for completion within 700 days.
The company confirmed that the deal is not a related-party transaction and that promoters hold no interest in it. The disclosure was made by Company Secretary GBS Naidu.
