HCC and Megha Construction lowest bidders for BKC bullet train station

The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has called for financial bids to design and build the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) high-speed rail station for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor. NHSRCL is a division of Indian Railways that oversees high-speed rail projects. The National High-Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) was established on February 12, 2016, under the Companies Act of 2013, with the goal of financing, constructing, maintaining, and managing India's High-Speed Rail Corridor.

The BKC station will have six platforms, each of which will be nearly 415 metres long (sufficient to accommodate a 16-coach bullet train). The station will be linked to the Metro and the road. The only underground station on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor is Bandra Kurla Complex.
