Kineco bags interior work contract for Train-18

A subsidiary of Indo-National, Kineco, was awarded a 113-crore contract for interior work on Vande Bharat semi-high speed trains being built at Chennai's Integral Coach Factory (ICF). Kineco also secured the largest order, consisting of 68 train fronts for the Vande Bharat trains, according to a regulatory filing by its parent firm. One of the main producers of composite technologies for the military and railroads is Kineco. For water filtration and chemical processing industries, it also manufactures fiber-reinforced plastic pressure containers. Kineco's founder and managing director, Shekhar Sardessai, asserted that the business has long been at the forefront of the Indian Railways' modernization initiative. Rail coach interiors, bathroom modules, aerodynamic front ends, driver cab interiors, and hard seating systems are among the products offered by the Railways.
