Noida Metro and New Delhi Railway Station to be connected

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) recently met with the Yamuna Authority to discuss a direct metro line connecting Greater Noida and New Delhi Railway Station. The length of this line will be 37 km. The exercise is carried out in order to connect Greater Noida with Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, which has a direct line from the New Delhi Metro Station.

The DMRC and the Yamuna Authority signed an agreement to create a DPR for the proposed project. This trail will be built one at a time. It will connect New Delhi Railway Station to the Knowledge Park metro station. DMRC has already developed the DPR for the Knowledge Park Station line's connection to the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar. The project has been approved by the authorities.

The rules will also include a proposal for the Knowledge Park-New Delhi Railway Station metro line's preliminary report. This proposed line would connect Jewar Airport to IGI Airport via New Delhi Airport. People can also be aligned for their flights along this line. After the corridor is completed, the distance between the two stations will be covered in less than an hour. On the new route, 11 stations have been suggested. This line will be elevated for approximately 34 km. These stations will be designed to be compatible with the existing Delhi-Noida route. The bid will be submitted by March 31, 2023.
