PM Modi to inaugurate airport-like Habibganj railway station in MP

PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Rs 450 crore Habibganj railway station in Bhopal on November 15.

The Habibgaj railway station has been formed under a public-private partnership and made by the Bansal Group. The railway station was developed for about Rs 450 crore.

The Railways station is on the same lines as Germany's Heidelberg railway station.

Approximately 160 CCTV cameras have additionally been set up at the station to keep round-the-clock surveillance.

The station will additionally boast of restaurants, food courts, dormitory, air-conditioned waiting rooms, VIP lounge.

Escalators and lifts have been set up at the station to reach the platform. A seating arrangement of 700 to 1,100 passengers has been developed in the open concourse.

For information about the movement of trains, display boards with diverse languages have been set up throughout the station.

Glimpses of world heritage sites like Bhim Baithika, Bhojpur Temples, Tawa Dam, Birla Mandir, Tribal Museum, among others, will be shown in the principal regions of the Habibganj railway station.

A souvenir shop will be installed in the upcoming days, and tribal art paintings will be shown.

A tourist information lounge will be installed, and a large LED screen will be put up on the first floor waiting for the hall to render information regarding the tourism and culture of the state.
