RITES invites bids for Package-2 of railway project in Talcher

Tenders are invited through E-Tendering system by RITES Ltd., a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, for the work of “Earthwork In Formation In Embankment & Cutting, Construction Of Major & Minor Bridges, P-Way Works, Supply Of Cement, Structural & Reinforcement Steel, Etc For New Railway Siding For Talcher Fertilizers Limited, Talcher, Odisha_(Package-2).” Brief Scope of Work: The earthwork in cutting (max 2.0 m depth) & filling (max 8m height) in formation, supplying & laying of Geotextiles, etc. are to be done for proposed railway track. Construction of Major bridge: 01 No. (24.4M Composite Girder). Construction of Minor bridges: 10 Nos. P-Way works (including supply of PSC Sleepers, ballast & fittings and laying of track) to be carried out. The tender seeks Civil Works worth Rs. 120,87,41,444.00 cr. to be completed in 365 days.
