RITES invites bids for Package-2 of railway project in Talcher

Tenders are invited through E-Tendering system by RITES Ltd., a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, for the work of “Earthwork In Formation In Embankment & Cutting, Construction Of Major & Minor Bridges, P-Way Works, Supply Of Cement, Structural & Reinforcement Steel, Etc For New Railway Siding For Talcher Fertilizers Limited, Talcher, Odisha_(Package-2).”

Brief Scope of Work:

The earthwork in cutting (max 2.0 m depth) & filling (max 8m height) in formation, supplying & laying of Geotextiles, etc. are to be done for proposed railway track.

Construction of Major bridge: 01 No. (24.4M Composite Girder). Construction of Minor bridges: 10 Nos.

P-Way works (including supply of PSC Sleepers, ballast & fittings and laying of track) to be carried out.

The tender seeks Civil Works worth Rs. 120,87,41,444.00 cr. to be completed in 365 days. As per the tender, the bid validity will be 75 days, and it will be an open bidding process. The bid submission will start on July 24, 2023 and will end on August 1, 2023.

The Tender should be accompanied by earnest money of Rs. 1,00,00,000.00 (One Crore only)
