RRTS Operational control centre to be set up at Duhai depot

The 5 RRTS stations in the Priority Section which are Duhai Depot, Guldhar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, and Duhai have started taking shape.

This administrative building will have a train simulator room, in which information regarding the operations of the train, systems, and training on dealing in real-time situations will be given to the trainees.

A conference room, library, and lecture hall are being constructed for the trainees and officials.

The building’s basement will also have a cafeteria for entertainment and food services along with a recreation room.

In the RRTS stations in the Priority Section, the Duhai Depot covers an area of 17 km between Sahibabad and Duhai in Ghaziabad. Therefore, Duhai Depot’s functioning is expedited for the upcoming operations.

Laying down the RRTS track along with installing OHE at the Duhai depot is being executed on a priority basis.

The RRTS corridor’s operational control centre will be set up at the Duhai depot. All the administration work of the project would be undertaken via the administrative building.

Additionally, one depot along with a stabling yard for RRTS trains will be established at Modipuram and Jangpura.

The Regional rail train coaches’ interiors which feature computer-centric facilities had been recently revealed at the Duhai depot. The coaches shall be soon delivered to the Duhai depot from Savli, Gujarat. The RRTS trains maintenance and subsequent cleaning facilities will be provided at the Duhai depot.
