RVNL Wins Rs 906 Million Surveillance Contract

State-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Southern Railway for the provision of a Video Surveillance System (VSS) at 441 D and E category stations, along with augmentation at 43 stations in categories A1, A, B, and C.
The project, valued at Rs 906 million, is to be executed within 18 months. The installation of advanced surveillance systems is expected to enhance passenger safety and monitoring capabilities across the Southern Railway network.
Recently, the railway PSU also secured a major supply and installation contract from IRCON International Ltd, reinforcing its growing presence in the sector.
On the markets, shares of RVNL closed at Rs 324.75 on the BSE, down 0.48 per cent.
