Simultala Station redevelopment work in full swing

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, redevelopment work of Simultala Railway Station in Bihar is going on at a fast pace. After completion, the junction will offer ?modern passenger amenities?, said the Ministry of Railways.

Simultala junction is in the Jamui district of Bihar. Its station code is STL. Reportedly, the railway station is counted among the top hundred train ticket booking stations. 109 trains pass through the Simultala Railway station.

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Indian Railways has embarked on the task of redevelopment of 1309 railway stations across India. Out of these, 86 railway stations (including Simultala Railway Station) will be transformed in India's Bihar state.
