Texmaco Rail Secures Railway Order Worth Rs Seven Point Four mn

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has informed stock exchanges that South Western Railway has issued a Letter of Acceptance for the provision of nylon mesh on TTC and portals to prevent bird nesting in the SBC division. The contract has a broad consideration of Rs seven point four million (mn) including taxes. The disclosure has been made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and relates to civil protection works to deter birds from nesting on traction and structural components in the division. The company has indicated that the contract is to be executed within 10 months from the date of issue of the Letter of Acceptance. The scope covers supply and installation of nylon mesh on TTC and portal structures.
