UP Cabinet Approves Noida Metro Aqua Line Extension

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has granted approval for the extension of Noida Metro's Aqua Line, a significant development aimed at enhancing connectivity in the region. The extension project will further integrate Noida and Greater Noida with improved metro services, catering to the increasing transportation needs of residents and commuters.

The extension of the Aqua Line will span from Sector 71 to Knowledge Park V, covering a distance of approximately 14 kilometres. This expansion is expected to benefit commuters by reducing travel time and easing traffic congestion along the route.

The approval includes plans for the construction of six new metro stations along the extended corridor, strategically located to serve densely populated areas and key commercial hubs. These stations will offer modern amenities and facilities, ensuring a comfortable and efficient commuting experience for passengers.

The extension project is also set to boost economic activities in the region, supporting local businesses and fostering employment opportunities.
