MP Kateel chairs smart city project reviews weekly

To expedite the Smart City Mission efforts in Dakshina Kannada, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has opted to conduct weekly review sessions for the Mangaluru Smart City (MSCL). Among the 88 projects initiated by MSCL in the city, significant endeavours such as the fisheries harbour and fish market redevelopment, Old Port retrofitting, Central Market overhaul, waterfront enhancement, multi-level car parking, bus terminal, cycle track installation, and the construction of a road underbridge (RuB) at Jeppu-Mahakalipadpu remain unfinished. Kateel will preside over development review meetings to ensure the timely completion of these major on-going projects before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
