Waterlogging worth Rs 11 billion in Panjim, Smart City

The residents of Panjim witnessed their concerns transforming into a harsh reality when heavy rainfall flooded several roads in the capital city. It was reported that water had entered shops and houses situated along the 18th June Road evening. The contractor in charge of the project informed that the work would resume in September, once the rainy season had passed, and guaranteed the completion of the remaining tasks by November of the current year. The Smart City project was estimated to cost Rs 11 billion.
