ABB India Launches ArTu Formula Low Voltage Switchgear

ABB India has recently launched ArTu Formula, a new low voltage switchgear solution designed to meet the evolving power distribution requirements of industrial sectors, critical infrastructure, and commercial and residential buildings. The solution focuses on enhanced reliability, operational efficiency and flexibility across a wide range of applications.

Part of ABB’s India Electrification portfolio, ArTu Formula is fully compliant with international standards IEC 61439 Parts 1 and 2, and IEC 61641, ensuring high levels of safety, performance and system integrity. The solution supports India’s expanding power infrastructure needs while contributing to domestic manufacturing and technological advancement under the Make in India initiative.

ArTu Formula is engineered to balance simplicity with versatility, making it suitable for applications such as power distribution systems, motor control centres and sub-distribution boards. Its modular design enables easier integration, optimised space utilisation and simplified maintenance for end users.

Commenting on the launch, Kiran Dutt, President – Electrification, ABB India, said the new solution marks a significant step forward in low voltage switchgear technology and reflects ABB’s commitment to supporting India’s infrastructure development and industrial growth.

The ArTu Formula complements ABB’s broader switchgear and electrification ecosystem, including air circuit breakers, moulded case circuit breakers, motor starting solutions, switches, disconnectors and digital offerings such as Lite Panel Pro. Together, these solutions provide enhanced protection, improved monitoring and control, and greater operational efficiency for customers across sectors.
