Jakson Group Begins Rs 80 Bn Integrated Solar Facility in MP

Jakson Group has begun work on its Rs 80 billion integrated solar manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh. The project, located in Rewa, will produce solar ingots, wafers, cells and modules, strengthening India’s domestic clean-energy supply chain.
The company said the plant will support India’s push for self-reliance in renewable manufacturing and help meet rising demand for high-efficiency modules. The first phase will focus on module production, with capacity expansion planned in subsequent stages.
Jakson Group noted that the investment reflects its long-term commitment to scaling up green energy infrastructure and contributing to the country’s energy-transition goals.
