Jakson Group Starts Rs 80 bn Solar Facility in MP

Jakson Group has begun work on its integrated solar manufacturing facility in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, with a total planned investment of Rs 80 billion. The project, which received state approval recently, will be developed in phases and is aimed at strengthening India’s renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem.

The proposed facility will include solar ingot, wafer, cell, and module production lines. The company added that the new hub will contribute to job creation and regional economic development, while supporting the growing demand for high-efficiency solar modules across utility, commercial, and residential sectors.
