KEC International Wins Rs 10.5 Billion Orders Across Segments

KEC International on Thursday said it has secured new orders worth Rs 10.5 billion across multiple businesses, strengthening its order book and growth visibility. In a regulatory filing, the flagship infrastructure company of the RPG Group said the wins span renewables, civil construction, transmission and distribution, and cables and conductors.

The renewables business secured a breakthrough order for a 100+ MW wind project balance of plant package in southern India from a leading private developer, marking KEC’s entry into the wind energy segment. The civil business won an order in the buildings and factories segment from an existing client for a downstream project in western India for a major steel producer.

The transmission and distribution business secured orders for the supply of towers, hardware and poles in the Americas, while the cables and conductors business received orders for supplying various types of cables and conductors in India and overseas markets.

Commenting on the developments, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEC International, said the maiden wind energy order marks a key milestone for the renewables business. He added that the company’s subsidiary, SAE Towers, has secured significant tower supply orders in Mexico, reflecting improving momentum in the North American T&D market. With these wins, KEC’s year-to-date order intake has reached Rs 193 billion, reinforcing confidence in achieving its growth targets.
