XCMG begins manufacturing at new base

At its new manufacturing facility, XCMG Machinery has started producing reachstackers, forklifts, and other mobile port equipment, as well as gantry cranes, with an annual production capacity of 2,000 units.

The new base has opened earlier than anticipated. It will increase production volume, advance intelligent and environmentally friendly manufacturing goals, and considerably raise port equipment quality.

To meet the demand for loading/unloading and handling equipment, XCMG Port Machinery has developed two product lines—pure electric and fuel—with five product categories, including reachstackers, empty container handlers, heavy counterbalance forklifts, telescopic handler forklifts, scrap handlers, and flatbed transporters.

Focused on the creation and utilisation of innovative energy products is XCMG Port Machinery. To further increase its market presence and aid in the development of smart, environmentally friendly ports and border crossings, it is also actively investigating the use of driverless flatbed transportation robots in ports and harbours.
