CMRS completes Jaipur Metro safety audit

Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) has completed ´safety audit´ of coaches for Jaipur Metro on its first phase which is likely to begin operation by August end. Though CMRS has hinted a satisfactory run of rolling stock (coaches), it would file a final report to the Railway Board that would issue a safety certificate to Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC). Based on safety certificate, CMRS experts would again examine rail track, signalling, communication, platforms, lifts, escalators, lighting, and personnel´s expertise on the first route from Mansarovar to Chandpole.
