DTCP seals four DLF 1 buildings for Gurugram building norm violations

Four residential buildings in DLF 1 have been sealed by the enforcement wing of the town and country planning department (DTCP) due to violations of building norms.

Manish Yadav, District town planner (enforcement), stated that two buildings were sealed as a result of a complaint filed at the CM Window, and two others were sealed for violations of occupation certificate norms.

He explained, "The department had issued show cause notices to the offenders, but they failed to provide satisfactory replies. The owners of the buildings had conducted illegal construction of rooms in stilt parking, and cutouts were covered in violation of the rules."
