Paranjape Schemes Plans Pune West Projects Worth Rs 11.75 billion

Paranjape Schemes Construction Limited has announced a new residential project pipeline across Pune West, comprising around 1,400 homes with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 11.75 billion.

The upcoming launches span key micro-markets including Sinhgad Road, Bhugaon and Hinjewadi Phase 1, with plans to develop over 1.75 million sq ft of residential space. The projects include two towers each at Sinhgad Road and Bhugaon, and one tower at Hinjewadi Phase 1.

These developments are aimed at meeting rising demand for well-connected and lifestyle-focused housing in Pune’s western corridor, offering a mix of modern amenities and connectivity advantages for both end-users and investors.

Sinhgad Road continues to gain traction due to its connectivity to central Pune and established social infrastructure, while Bhugaon is emerging as a preferred destination for its scenic surroundings and improving connectivity to Kothrud and the Mumbai–Bangalore Highway. Hinjewadi Phase 1, located near Pune’s IT hub, remains a key residential choice for professionals.

Amit Paranjape, Business Development, Paranjape Schemes, stated that the launches align with festive season demand and reflect the company’s focus on delivering quality housing in high-growth locations. He added that the company is also developing three large integrated townships and aims to expand its presence across multiple cities over the next decade.

With Pune’s housing demand supported by IT sector growth, infrastructure development and urban expansion, these projects are expected to attract strong interest from both homebuyers and investors.

S&P Global Says Tariff And Investment Rules Needed In Power Market

Researchers at S&P Global Energy, the research arm of S&P Global, said that government regulation on tariff and investment should complement competition in power markets, since transmission and distribution remain natural monopolies requiring large capital investments.
