LANXESS India Honoured with Three Recognitions by Indian Chemical Council

LANXESS India has been honoured with three prestigious awards from the Indian Chemical Council (ICC), reaffirming its commitment to safety, security, and sustainability. The recognitions include the ICC–Vinati Organics Award for Excellence in Management of Health & Safety for its Jhagadia site, along with two ICC–Epsilon Carbon Certificates of Merit under Responsible Care for being the best compliant company in the categories of Security Code and Product Safety & Stewardship Code.

The awards were presented by Shri Deepankar Aron IRS, Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, at a ceremony held in Mumbai this month.

On behalf of the company, Namitesh Roy Choudhury, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, and Balaram Khot, Whole-time Director and Head of PTSE, received the honours. The Certificates of Merit were accepted by Rajiv Gaur, VP – Head of Procurement & Logistics, and Naresh Mude, Head of Site Health, Safety, Environment, Jhagadia.

Commenting on the recognition, Roy Choudhury said, “At LANXESS, safety and sustainability are at the core of our business. These recognitions are a testament to the rigorous standards we maintain and the responsible practices we follow to ensure the safety of our employees and operations.
