Choice Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd, the public sector advisory arm of Choice International Ltd, has secured two major project developments totalling approximately Rs 634.7 million (inclusive of GST), further solidifying its role in public sector transformation and infrastructure planning across India.
The company has received a work order worth Rs 528 million from the Maharashtra Institution for Transformation (MITRA), under the Government of Maharashtra. This assignment, part of the World Bank-backed MahaSTRIDE Programme, involves setting up District Strategic Units (DSUs) across the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Division. The five-year project aims to build institutional capacity at the district level and support data-driven, growth-oriented governance in line with India's US$5 trillion economic vision and Maharashtra's US$1 trillion target.
In addition, Choice Consultancy has emerged as the highest-ranked (H1) bidder for a project valued at Rs 106.7 million, floated by the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA), Government of Odisha. The project, titled “Providing Engineering Consultancy Services in 58 Urban Local Bodies of Odisha,” focuses on enhancing urban planning and technical capability to address rapid urbanisation. The engagement is set to span two years, pending the final award confirmation.
Arun Poddar, CEO of Choice International Ltd, commented, “These important project wins reinforce our commitment to enabling institutional advancement and sustainable urban infrastructure. We are proud to support public sector partners with innovative, technology-driven solutions that directly contribute to India’s long-term development goals.”
These initiatives are closely aligned with the Government of India’s broader agenda of modernising public institutions, strengthening digital infrastructure, and promoting inclusive economic progress. The projects underscore Choice’s position as a trusted implementation partner in high-value, impact-led public sector programmes.
