CM Khattar lays foundation stone for Panchkula development projects

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will lay the foundation stone for several Panchkula development projects worth crores during the Vikas Rally on April 10.

The purpose of the meeting was to assess the status of all ongoing projects in the Panchkula Assembly constituency.

According to Gupta, Chaitra Navratri will begin on April 2 and Chief Minister Khattar will dedicate several development projects involving various departments to the people of Panchkula on April 10. He will also speak at a Vikas Rally on the same day.

While reviewing the development projects, Gupta directed officers from the relevant departments to speed up some work and resolve inter-departmental issues within a set time frame so that progress could be made.

Gupta expressed his displeasure with the actions taken against illegal encroachment in Panchkula, saying that it is the responsibility of the concerned SHO and junior engineer (JE) of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) or Panchkula Municipal Corporation to ensure that such illegal settlements do not reappear once they have been demolished.

Gaurav Patt and Vikas Patt, according to Gupta, should be established in all of the district's villages to showcase villagers' accomplishments and development efforts.

While the Gaurav Patt in villages will highlight villagers' achievements in various fields, the Vikas Patt will highlight village development projects.

Gupta directed officers to complete the work as soon as possible while reviewing the progress of the Haryana Roadways depot-level workshop being built-in Industrial Area Phase-II and said that additional manpower would be deployed if needed.

Gupta directed action against the responsible officer and requested a report on the matter as soon as possible after receiving the complaint of irregularities in road construction work on the Barwala bypass.

Gupta was informed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Ayush Sinha that he and officers from the concerned department had inspected the 500-meter stretch and that all 35 defective panels had been repaired at the agency's risk and expense.
