Full digitisation of GST appeals

A senior official conveyed that the entire process of dispute resolution through appeal to the GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) will be digitised by the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN). The government plans to activate all the benches of GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) by January 2025, aiming to reduce the substantial backlog of pending GST-related disputes at the appellate level.
