Shyam Metalics Foundation Brings ‘Shelter of Protection’ to Families This Durga Puja

Shyam Metalics, a leading integrated metal-producing company, is combining tradition with compassion this Durga Puja through its CSR arm, the Shyam Metalics Foundation. The Foundation’s special campaign, ‘Shelter of Protection,’ aims to extend the spirit of the festival beyond rituals by providing roofing sheets to families in need, ensuring they have secure and reliable homes.

The roofing sheets adorning the three beautifully designed home-style pandals at Garia, Dankuni, and Burdwan will be donated to underprivileged families, transforming festival celebrations into tangible protection and care. This initiative reflects Shyam Metalics’ commitment to safeguarding communities while celebrating the blessings of Maa Durga.

Durga Puja, a cherished cultural festival in Bengal, marks the homecoming of Maa Durga, symbolising joy, light, and togetherness. Through this campaign, the Foundation carries the festival’s spirit forward, supporting families long after the festivities conclude and strengthening the sense of community.

“Durga Puja is more than just a festival; it is a reminder of compassion, unity, and renewal. Through our initiative ‘Shelter of Protection,’ we are extending the blessings of Maa Durga beyond the puja grounds to families who need shelter the most,” said Nirmal Uday, COO, CRM Division of Shyam Metalics. “At Shyam Metalics, we believe in transforming faith into meaningful action, and this campaign is our humble attempt to give back to the community that has always been our strength.”
