CREDAI offers infra support to government during national emergency

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (CREDAI) has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, offering its infrastructure and redevelopment capabilities to support the Government in any construction or rebuilding efforts deemed necessary in the national interest.

In its letter, CREDAI reaffirmed the real estate sector’s solidarity with the nation, highlighting its network of developers, skilled workforce, and execution capabilities across regions, which could be deployed for housing, infrastructure, or redevelopment projects—especially in conflict-affected or urgent development zones.

“We salute the valour of our armed forces and the leadership of the Government. CREDAI is ready to support any infrastructure-led initiative in the service of the nation,” said Shekhar G. Patel, President, CREDAI. The association has begun mobilising member developers and key vendors to ensure swift support.

CREDAI’s proposed action plan includes:

Pan-India mobilisation of trained engineers, architects, and planners;

Rapid deployment of housing and infrastructure projects using pre-designed layouts;

Centralised coordination through CREDAI for execution efficiency.

The association assured the government of its readiness to act swiftly, reinforcing its role in nation-building and emergency infrastructure response.
