Dubai Municipality Delegation Explores Moro Hub’s Digital and Green Infrastructure

A high-level delegation from Dubai Municipality, led by Director General HE Marwan Bin Ghalita, visited Moro Hub—subsidiary of Digital DEWA—to explore its advanced digital infrastructure and green technology capabilities. The visit was hosted by HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), to strengthen cooperation in smart city initiatives and environmental sustainability. 

The delegation toured Moro Hub’s Green Data Centre, Security and Network Operations Centres, and IoT Command Centre. During the visit, Dubai Municipality received a Green Certificate from Moro Hub, recognising its commitment to reducing carbon emissions by hosting IT workloads at the green facility. 

“This visit reinforces the importance of collective government efforts in building secure, smart, and sustainable infrastructure for Dubai’s future,” said HE Al Tayer. “Moro Hub continues to lead digital transformation in alignment with Dubai’s Clean Energy and Net Zero Carbon strategies.” 

HE Marwan Bin Ghalita added, “Our partnership with Moro Hub is key to enhancing public service delivery and building infrastructure resilience as Dubai accelerates toward becoming a global smart and sustainable city.” 

Moro Hub supports UAE’s innovation and sustainability goals through services in cloud hosting, cybersecurity, smart city solutions, managed services, and enterprise technologies.
