Shakti Pumps Strengthens Push for Solar Irrigation Solutions

Shakti Pumps (India) has reiterated its focus on supporting Indian farmers and strengthening the agricultural ecosystem through sustainable and energy-efficient irrigation solutions. The company said its solar and energy-efficient pumping systems are helping farmers improve crop yields, reduce dependence on diesel and lower irrigation costs.
Shakti Pumps has established a strong position in the domestic solar pumps segment, driven by adoption across multiple states, supported by service infrastructure and alignment with government solar and irrigation programmes. The company stated that its solar pumping systems enable more efficient irrigation, timely water availability and multiple cropping cycles, contributing to higher farm productivity and improved rural incomes.
