CDS and KCC lowest bidders for NHAI’s DAK tender

CDS Infra Projects and KCC Buildcon emerged as the lowest bidders for the construction of the first three packages of the 650 km Delhi-Amritsar-Katra (DAK) Expressway after the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) opened financial bids.

This four lane greenfield project with a proposed right of way (RoW) of 90 m starts at KMP Expressway northwest of Delhi and will be expandable to eight lanes with a provision of service roads in the future. Its detailed project report (DPR) and alignment studies were prepared by Feedback Infrastructure.

NHAI invited bids for the first three packages, all within Haryana, in September 2020 with a two year deadline. Technical bids were opened in December.

The entire DAK Expressway project has been divided into approximately 20 packages, and bidding has started for at least 10 packages.
