BCPL Wins Rs 86.64 Mn OHE Order from Eastern Railway

BCPL Railway Infrastructure, Eastern Railway, Sealdah Division, 25KV OHE works, railway electrification project, Indian Railways EPC, overhead electrificationBCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited has recently secured an order for 25KV overhead electrification (OHE) and allied electrical works in the Sealdah Division of Eastern Railway. The company has received the letter of acceptance for the project titled ‘Removal of In-between Track OHE Masts over Sealdah Division’.
The total value of the project stands at Rs 86.64 million and is scheduled to be executed over a period of 12 months. The scope includes OHE and associated electrical works aimed at improving operational efficiency and safety across the division.
Commenting on the development, Aparesh Nandi, Chairman, BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited, said the company remains optimistic about its order pipeline in the coming months and continues to see strong opportunities in the railway electrification segment.
BCPL stated that it has been actively contributing to railway connectivity across India, including projects in the North East and rural regions. The company expects sustained opportunities from ongoing railway modernisation initiatives such as EPC works, line modifications, capacity augmentation through additional lines and speed enhancement of existing corridors.
