Bengaluru’s Pink Line Metro to Begin Operations by May 2026

Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has announced that Bengaluru’s Namma Metro Pink Line will become operational by May 2026. The 21.25-km corridor will run from Kalena Agrahara to Nagawara, featuring a total of 18 stations.

The Pink Line will comprise six elevated and 12 underground stations, effectively connecting the southern and northern parts of Bengaluru. The route will also include a 13.76-km underground section, marking one of the city’s most significant metro infrastructure developments.

The upcoming corridor is expected to substantially ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity across major urban and commercial hubs in the city.
