First consignment of LHB wheels flagged off from RINL plant

Sanjay Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Ministry of Steel, flagged off the first shipment of Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) wheels to the Indian Railways from RINL's Forged Wheel Plant (FWP) at Rae Bareli in the presence of RINL CMD Atul Bhatt.

Sanjay Kumar Singh praised RINL for its joint efforts in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Atmanirbharta and establishing the brand India. He expressed his delight at the delivery of the first consignment of LHB wheels to Indian Railways, describing it as a watershed moment in RINL's history. He was certain that FWP would be a game changer for RINL.

He praised FWP for its very high level of automation and advised it to leverage the latest technologies for cost cutting. Atul Bhatt described the first despatch of LHB wheels as a major milestone.
