A 72-m- wide concourse space with 32 new elevators and 16 new escalators will be part of the new station's multi-level parking structure with separate gates for arrival and departure security checking the area and main station building. The skywalk will be connected to the foot overbridges at the station according to Captain Shashi Kiran NWR's head public relations officer.

The station will also contain a baby food area an executive waiting room retail stalls restrooms and a variety of other contemporary passenger amenities. Through a variety of architectural features and motifs including yellow stone latticework arches domes and chhatri among others the complete restoration of Jodhpur station will reflect the rich tradition of Suryanagari.
