Mumbai Metro lines 2A and 7 achieve 0.10 billion ridership

(Image from Amit Chakravarty's Express) Since the services started on April 2, 2022, Mumbai's elevated Metro lines 2A and 7 have carried 0.10 billion people, according to the Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Ltd. (MMMOCL).

While MMRDA built the elevated corridors, MMMOCL, an MMRDA undertaking, is in charge of running and maintaining these two Metro lines. Link Road and the Western Express Highway connect Dahisar and Andheri via a 35-km stretch of metro lines 2A and 7, which passes through the eastern and western suburbs of Mumbai. Line 7 takes 35 minutes to go from Dahisar East to Gundavali in Andheri East, whereas Line 2A takes 40 minutes to travel 18.6 kilometres to DN Nagar in Andheri West. Between 5.55 a.m. and 11 p.m., there are 257 journeys made on the Metro lines per day.
