RVNL secures Rs 3.90 billion order from Indian Railways

The Indian Railways placed an order with state-owned RVNL, announcing that it was worth Rs 3.90 billion. According to an exchange filing from RVNL, the deal was for the Asansol division to construct the Sitarampur bypass line.

It was further mentioned that RVNL had obtained a Letter of Acceptance from the Eastern Railway to construct the Sitarampur bypass line under the Eastern Railway's Asansol Division.

The company stated that the project cost was Rs 3.90 billion including GST, and the duration of the project is 24 months.

RVNL, under the Ministry of Railways, is responsible for planning, funding, and executing rail infrastructure projects.
