Total sales volume stood at 164 tonne (t) in the fourth quarter, with job work volume of 58 t and total processing volume of 222 t during the quarter; total production of finished goods was 206 t. The company attributed the improvement to higher capacity utilisation and operating efficiencies that supported the ramp-up in activity.

EBITDA for FY26 turned positive at Rs. 42 mn versus a loss of Rs. 12 mn in FY25, while profit after tax was Rs. three mn compared with a loss of Rs. 64 mn in the prior year, marking a substantial year on year improvement.

Management said the quarter marked the first full period following completion of the NCLT process and transition to new management, and that the turnaround was driven by focused execution and a calibrated ramp-up. The team indicated it will continue to focus on optimising plant operations, enhancing throughput and increasing the share of value-added products, which is expected to support margin expansion. JTL Defence Limited operates a manufacturing facility at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh and supplies a diversified range of copper, brass and alloy-based products to domestic and international customers including the Middle East and Africa.
