Apco Secures Contracts Worth Rs. 28.8 Billion for Water Works in Mathura

Apco Infratech Pvt. Ltd, one of India's fastest growing mid-sized infrastructure conglomerates with extensive experience in highways, power generation, tunnels, irrigation/canal, metro rail, and urban infrastructure, is currently managing a large number of road projects across the country.

Apco Infratech Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded a contract for the review of survey, design, drawings, DPR, and construction of a multi-group of villages water supply scheme in Mathura. The contract is worth Rs. 2880.04, and includes relevant works including commissioning and operation and maintenance for 10 years.

The project will be implemented in two packages: Package 1 worth Rs. 1919.24, and Package 2 worth Rs. 960.8. The project will provide water supply to over 100,000 people in the Mathura district.

The project will involve the construction of a new water treatment plant, a network of pipelines, and a number of water storage tanks. The project is expected to be completed in 24 months.

The project is being funded by the Government of India through the National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP). The NRDWP is a centrally sponsored scheme that aims to provide drinking water to all rural households in India by 2024.
